Tim Thorsteinson, President, Broadcast Communications Division, Harris Corporation

Tim Thorsteinson is president of Harris Corporate, Broadcast Communications Division. In this role, Mr. Thorsteinson's mandate is to position Harris as a market leader in the professional digital video industry.

During his long career in the broadcast market, Mr. Thorsteinson has earned a unique reputation for transforming companies into highly efficient, profitable, customer-driven operations. His most recent role prior to joining Harris was as president and CEO of Leitch Technology, where he succeeded in turning a company that had not realized an operating profit in more than two years into a growing, profitable, sought-after organization. Prior to that his journey included senior management positions at Grass Valley Products, Tektronix and National Semiconductor Corporation.

A native of California, Mr. Thorsteinson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
