Cynthia HesterCynthia Hester, Worldwide Software Customer Reference Program Lead, Hewlett-Packard

Cynthia has over twenty years experience in marketing, strategic planning, go-to-market programs, communications and business development primarily in the high technology arena.  As a senior marketing professional, she has developed and implemented global marketing strategies & plans, including marketing communications, sales training, third party relations, events and public relations. She joined Hewlett Packard as part of the Compaq Computer merger in 2002.  

Currently, Cynthia is a member of the HP Technology Services Group Marketing team responsible for the Worldwide Customer Reference Program for the HP Software Customer Advocacy team. In this role she is responsible for strategy, planning, implementation, communications, operations and management as well as program integration with online communities and social media tools. Prior to her current position Ms. Hester held a variety of marketing leadership roles including Worldwide Finance Industry Marketing Director for Compaq Computer Corp and Worldwide Solutions Marketing Director for HP Services. Her responsibilities included marketing strategy, messaging & positioning, customer reference programs, marketing services, and marketing communications. Cynthia is a member of the The Conference Board Council for Marketing Executives and is involved in several Social Media, eMarketing and customer advocacy communities.
